Terms of Service

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. By creating an account or using DHPrep (dhprep.com), you agree to them.

1. What DHPrep is

DHPrep is an independent study tool for the National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination (NDHCE). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Federation of Dental Hygiene Regulators of Canada (FDHRC), any provincial or territorial regulator, or any educational institution.

2. Educational use only

Our questions and explanations are study material. They are provided for exam preparation and reflect our own original writing. They are not clinical advice, not a substitute for your professional education, and completing our question bank does not guarantee any exam result. Exam rules, dates, and outcomes are governed by FDHRC and your regulator.

3. Your account

  • Provide an email address you control and keep your password private.
  • One account is for one person; do not share credentials or resell access.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it was compromised.

4. Acceptable use

Using DHPrep reasonably means you will not:

  • copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute our questions, explanations, or other content — it is original material owned by us and protected by copyright;
  • attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that are not yours;
  • interfere with the service or use it to break any law; or
  • use the service to reconstruct or solicit recalled live exam content.

We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these rules.

5. Access and payment

Free starter access requires no credit card. Paid access is sold as one-time passes — they do not renew automatically, and they end when their stated period ends. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. If a purchase issue arises (a duplicate charge, a pass that did not activate), contact support@dhprep.com and we will make it right.

6. Refunds and cancellations

If you buy a pass and change your mind, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it in full, as long as you have not used the paid bank substantially. If something went wrong with a purchase — a duplicate charge, a pass that did not activate — tell us and we will fix or refund it. Statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law always apply and are not limited by this policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep DHPrep available and improving. Content, features, and pricing may change over time; if we make material changes to these terms we will update this page and the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

8. Disclaimers and limits

DHPrep is provided “as is”. To the degree the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service — for example exam outcomes, study decisions, or time invested. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
